I made this London Elektricity doll as a thank you for putting us on the guestlist at Hospitality (i cant even explain what a fantastic time i had!). He’s made from soft cotton jersey with wired arms, complete with little jeans, Hospital hoodie and Nike Airforce One’s. Its been ages since i made any little dolly clothes so i had a great time making him!
I was so happy when this gorgeous photo of Moonmallow popped up on my flickr friends stream. Lauren adopted her last year, and i love seeing her beautiful photos of my toys, i wish i could fly her over to England to take pics of all my work! You can see more of Laurens photos here.
I created the Frogclops for good friends and designer extraordinaire’s Triclops back in 2009. He’s 8.5″ tall with long poseable legs and fingers, made from fleece fabric with ‘wart’ accents for texture and detail. I custom made the eyes from scratch and gave them a coat of full gloss lacquer to really set them off against the matte fleece fabric. I love working with Triclops and he was a lot of fun to work on! After making the plain white DIY plush Dunnies i wanted to have a go at customising one. This little guys is 6″ tall and made up in a fine cotton polkadot fabric, with vintage lace embelishments on his tummy. I had been holding onto these little cameo buttons for a while and this just seemed like the perfect project for them, they give him a victorian-y/steam punk look. This is is a soft, squishy plush Dunny made from an original pattern by Holly Stanway, it’s not a vinyl custom
Theres some big changes going on at A Little Stranger, I’ve been super busy behind the scenes building a dedicated webshop so i can sell direct through alittlestranger.com instead of selling things through Etsy. There are also a number of new products on their way, the new lines will include toys, collectables and apparel, as well as the Bunny Brooches and art prints you’re more familiar with. Join the mailing list to be the first to know when the new stuff launches.
After all the work i did on my Applehead custom Dunny it really got me to thinking, what would Dunny look like in plush? so i made a couple! These guys are 6″ and 3″ respectively and made from off-white felt, in a DIY kinda stylee. These are soft, squishy plush Dunny’s made from original patterns by Holly Stanway, not vinyl customs
Edit: I also made a red polkadot plush Dunny

We made these flying ducks for the wall a couple of weeks ago but its been super duper busy round these parts and i haven’t had time to get my bum in front of the computer and blog ‘em! They’re based on the game Duck Hunt on the NES. Here they are in all their glory, i’m well pleased with how they turned out!
Treeson is one of my favourite vinyl toys ever so i was very enthusiastic about making a plush version! I’ve actually been sitting on this for a little while but thought i should get on and share pictures He came on a day out with us in London at the weekend.
