It’s been so busy round here so it’s been a while since i’ve done an update on where project blankie’s got to. For those new to the blog (hi!) project blankie is a massive sofa throw i’m making out of individual knitted and crochet’d squares. If you’ve got craft skills, i’d love for you to send me one and i’ll feature it on the blog :)
Read more about project blankie here, and see all the squares made so far. There’s also a link to the pattern I’ve been using if you’d like to take part!

All the colors you used are so refreshing to look at. Keep up the good work! I knit and crochet myself, but I still haven’t tried something as large-scaled as this. Keep going! I’d love to see the finished product. :)

hey, a couple of weeks ago i left a comment on this photo -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/alittlestranger/4004288768/ and only now i remembered to check it again (it’s a shame flickr doesn’t have the ‘reply’ option, isn’t it?).
your project is coming out pretty great, such lovely and creative squares! i’m a beginner at crocheting, and can only make the regular one. :( i’m also making a granny blanket, at first i got so excited and made a bunch (guess i’ve made 30 so far) then kind of lost interest…
hey, i’d love to trade one with you! i think this would make our blankets even more special! x;) what a coincidence… had i seen your message earlier, i would have sent it along with some xmas presents i sent to a friend of mine yesterday — he’s from london as well.
